What We Do
We have been preparing taxes for over 15 years and preparing US tax returns for foreigners or citizens living abroad since 2005. We are familiar with foreign earned income, exclusions, housing allowances, credits and other required forms and deadlines.
We offer the preparation of the US 1040 tax return for individuals, 1065 partnership, other related IRS forms, and state tax returns.
Why?
Due to the unique situation of working abroad, your tax preparers will have no experience completing the appropriate IRS forms or may do it incorrectly resulting in you overpaying your tax bill. Big 4 accounting firms and other professional firms charge over $1,000 for tax return preparation.
Failure-to-file penalties start at $135 and can increase with interest and additional fines. Most citizens working abroad earning less than $100,000 (or the equivalent in foreign currency) will owe no income tax. Filing is simply an exercise in navigating the complex IRS tax forms and being in compliance with federal law.
